Although we enjoy spending time together, Willa is set up as a remote only company. Having that said, this role will be based within the EU and requires a valid work permit for the EU region.

The role 🧑‍🚀

You will be a key member of Willa's growing product development team, able to have a massive impact on what we build and how we build it.

What you'll do 🧑‍💻

* Taking ownership of new products and features from idea to implementation
* Collaborate cross-functional with product managers, designers, and engineers - and ship a lot of code
* Clearly communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders
* Work across our entire tech stack, backend, mobile app, and web

Who are you? 🙋

* A Full Stack Developer with enough years experience to feel comfortable to work autonomously
* Experience of cloud-based platform development and infrastructure
* Enjoys working with app based products and have previous experience from such
* Familiar and comfortable with all layers in computer software development - from user-interface to backend, data storage, and infrastructure
* Your motivation lays in building something useful for others, keeping the end user experience and value in mind in all you do
* Ability to write clean, understandable, maintainable code
* Curious at heart and wants to keep up to date with new technology
*Ability to not only reflect on the “what” and the “how” but also the “why” in what you do
* Professional experience with TypeScript and Node.js
* Experience working in agile teams, including software development processes with test-driven development, pull request reviews and continuous integration and deployment.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have 🌟

* Experience with Flutter and Dart from a shipped application
* Experience with Google Cloud Platform
* Experience with React and Next.js
* Code examples in GitHub or similar
